Why are there different prices for the same package?
Our packages are priced depending on where you live. For example, members who do not live in a 'local loop unbundled' (LLU) area will be charged £25.00 a month, for those who live in areas that we plan to unbundle they will be charged £19.99 a month. LLU is the process whereby BT makes its local network (which is the copper wires that run from your home to the telephone exchange) available to other companies.
The reason for the additional charge for our packages in non-LLU areas is because it is more expensive for us to provide broadband through a 'bundled' telephone line.
